Formerly the Drunken Woodworker, David Picciuto recently re-branded his maker channels as Make Something, which focuses primarily on woodworking projects for beginner to advanced, taking a fun approach for all skill levels, with original designs and unique twists on traditional projects.

I show how to make all kinds of things from the simple to the complex with a focus on design and originality. Together let’s celebrate the spirit of building, creativity and inspiration!

Dave spent his past life in marketing, designing and developing websites for 10 years prior to becoming a full-time as a maker.  He is based out of Toledo Ohio, Go Mud Hens!

Outside of his own channels, David is also part of the Making It Podcast trio, a great weekly podcast that gives insight into topics surrounding the maker scene but not specific to making itself.

At the end of the day David is “just having fun”, something that is often lost by many presenters, and his non-serious approach keeps the material he covers light and well, fun.

For more of David’s background, checkout this interview at Woodworker’s Journal from Sept 2016.
